The Midwest is a hot spot for golf and Illinois is no exception. This Robert Trent Jones Jr. masterpiece is a must-play for any golfer who demands the best. The city of Peoria is located in the middle of Illinois and is home to WeaverRidge Golf Club. One of Illinois' most spectacular Championship golf courses the club is masterfully designed in rolling hills and forested valleys created by Hurdzan-Fry to balance nature with design. WeaverRidge features multiple bent grass tees and fairways, fast and true greens, challenging and dramatic elevations and excellent practice facilities. Forty-two minutes inland from the Chicago shores of Lake Michigan is Prairie Landing Golf Course. A prairie links style 18-hole course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., it’s peppered with various wetlands, mounds, and bunkers. Prairie Landing is no walk in the park.
